Yes. Vietnam Airlines flies nonstop from Frankfurt (FRA) to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Lufthansa also flies direct from FRA and Munich (MUC) to Vietnam. Direct flight time is 11 to 12 hours. From Berlin, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, or Cologne, plan a 1-stop via FRA, MUC, or Doha.

Yes. German travelers commonly do longer Asia tours: Vietnam plus Angkor Wat in Cambodia, plus Luang Prabang in Laos, plus Bangkok. Multiple Entry lets you re-enter Vietnam during the 90-day window. Plenty of Bundeslander leave norms make month-long Asia trips realistic.
